Sanki Seiko Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") stipiulates the privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") as follows regarding the handling of user's personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Services").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the party to which the information is provided shall not be considered a third party in the following cases.   
    1. When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
    2. When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of a business due to a merger or other reasons.
    3. In the event that personal information is to be used jointly with a specific party, and that notification of this fact, the items of personal information to be used jointly, the scope of the party using the information jointly, the purpose of use of the party using the information, and the name of the party responsible for the management of the personal information are given to the person in advance or made readily available to the person.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
  • When the Company is requested by an individual to disclose his/her personal information, the Company will disclose such information to the individual without delay. However, the Company may decide not to disclose all or part of the information if such disclosure would cause any of the following to occur, and if the Company decides not to disclose the information, it will notify the person to that effect without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each disclosure of personal information.

    2. When there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of the Company's business
    3. In the event that it would violate other laws and regulations
  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company will not, as a rule, disclose any information other than personal information, such as history infomration and characteristics information.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
  • A user may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correct, etc.") his/her personal information in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company, if the personal information held by the Company is incorrect. (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.").
  • When the Company receives a request from a user as described in the preceding paragraph and deems it necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall correct the relevant personal information without delay.
  • When the Company makes corrections, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when the Company decides not to make corrections, etc., the Company will notify the User of this without delay.
Article 8 (Suspension, etc. of Use of Personal Information)
  • If we are requested by the person in question to stop using or erase the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "cessation of use, etc.") on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use, or that the personal information was acquired by wrongful means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  • If, based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, when it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company will suspend the use of the personal information without delay.
  • In the event that the Company carries out cessation of use, etc., or determines not to ceased the use in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company shall notify the User of such decision without delay.
  • Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, in cases where it is difficult to carry out cessation or use, etc. of the information, such as when there is a large amount of money to be expended in ceasing the use, etc. of the information, and in cases where alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the user, such alternative measures shall be taken.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
  • The contents of this policy are subject to change without notice to users, except as otherwise provided by law or in this policy.
  • Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is posted on this website.
